Hamster cage and Accessories to give away

My last hamster, has gone to heaven last weekend.

And because of this, I have an entire set of hamster cage and accessories to give away for free.
Let me know if you want them because I do not intend to be keeping anymore small animals for a long time to come.

So write to me and I will let you know when would be a convenient time to pass them to you.

ciao.

Bad day... i'm burnt out!

Today is really one bad day at work.

Teachers are humans, they have down days too.
Sometimes I really wonder why is it that we needed to take so much nonsense from our students.

Teachers come into the profession after gruelling and nerve wrecking interviews by a panel of principals.
If it weren't for the fact that we enjoy being in this profession, we wouldn't have embarked on this career and throwing away good careers and much better paying jobs in the private sector.

However, manyatimes, its the pupils whom the teacher is asked to take care of, that gives him/her tte most problems. Eventually these nonsense, together with unreasonable demands from parents as well as the ministry, tear dedicated teachers away from their calling because the emotional and physical stress is just too much.

right this moment, I am suffering from emotional abuse.
I think I am.

I had to take nonsense from an EM3 class for 3 straight periods today followed by another 2 periods with my p6 class, who totally detest studying.

I know it is too early to admit defeat. But if my soldiers have stopped fighting, can the captain win the war by herself?

Its plain timpossible!

why don't they get it?

eeps

I havent been blogging yes i know.

Been busy, what is new?
Been sick, lost my voice for 2 days and those pupils I teach dont miss me during my absence.
*bangs wall* so cold hearted.

Right this moment, I am still nursing my bad throat and my cold. And I think its not easy to recover from the sickness because I am so stressed over so many things to be done and yet I only have 24 hours in a day like everybody else.

So have you been making sure that you did not waste time and spend each day wisely and fruitfully?

Oh.. just something to shout about.
My school won the soccer friendly yesterday with River Valley primary

Woohoo!

So there say ... it is interesting ..

Today is the 2nd day of school and I started to scold students already.

I have never liked or enjoyed scolding students because I look ugly when i scold students - who doesn't right?

I simply cannot stop myself from hollering because the boys were really not serious about their work even though they are in primary 6.

I do not understand why it is so difficult to do work on time, promptly and seriously - isn't this the most basic of all instruction? I had even allowed them to choose their own groups.

To think I had actually set up a blog specially for this class with hopes of allowing them the responsibility of maintaining it by themselves. Using it as a guide for them to do homework, as well as a personal space to write what they wish to write to make English Language interesting and relevant to the real world.

It is really demoralising to actually have to scold them on the 2nd day of school when I think they can behave themselves better. I feel so much worse because all the hopes of trying to help them really went down the drain.

I am beginning to doubt if I ought to try so hard to help them, when they themselves do not appreciate what I am doing ...

Help me...
