singapore idol finals

So it was down to the final 2 contestants, Hardy Mirza and Jonathan Leong.

All of you should know by now that I support Jonathan and not Hardy. However, I feel that the result was just enough, and the fact that Jonathan did not win, I'm not too worried about it, cos during the finals, HArdy really did sing better than Jonathan Leong. Just compare the song written specially for the finalist you would have know the result.

Lately I have been pretty busy, with courses and what nots, I recently attended a course at the british council, it was pretty fun, and I think i might just apply what I learn during the course to my every day teaching.

On Children's day, teachers were made to perform. Dang! I was asked to sing a song together with the p4 teachers, cos im teaching 2 p4 class and 2 p6 class. It was a song that I know nothing about, Backstreet boys, " Shape of my heart" It was a little embarassing and also pretty hilarious experience. embarassing because Im singing a song from a boy band! *blush* hilarious because i think we all sang out of tune! haha! I think the children had a ball, but im not so sure about the teachers! Pity I did not take pictures, otherwise I would have post them up for all to see.

So with my previous batch of p6 students like reylyn and kok keong who have obviously remembered me and my funny stories during their health education lesson and kept in contact with me, how are the rest of my students coping with their secondary school life?

I think most of you ought to have settled in your school and made new friends. Are you lamenting about the lack of children's day holiday?

Let me know, write to me.
ciaoz!
