why do my students hide?

It is not the first time i met students outside of school.

Once I met a particularly naughty little girl from a P3 class at IMM. She stopped dead in her tracks and amazingly took her noly 1 split second to find her escape from my sight and went yee-ba-yeeba-andelay to her hiding place.

Then a few days later i saw another p3 girl at the hawker centre and she froze like a statue with her mouth gaping.

Just yesterday i saw a P6 boy at Plaza Singapura with his mummy and siblings. He tried to hide away from my by putting a plastic bag in front of his face. Doesnt that makes you more obvious to me?

but why do you need to hide from your teachers? can't you just say Hello Teacher? or Good-morning teacher?

I dont understand!

Welcome welcome

Today I told a class about my blog. So I am expecting some guests to my web journal.

There isn't much in the journal at the current moment as I have only just started writing. I would be including some photographs in this blog soon.

If you have a blog and would like me to include your blog in the links section, you can write me an email, or let me know about it in school.

For those of you who are new to blogging:

A blog is a web journal. That is it is an online diary. It allows you to write how you feel, experience in the journal. It also creates a space in the worldwide web, that you can invite friends to go read and get to know you better.

However, if you do not want others to see and read what you have written, meaning you wish to keep your diary private, then you should not be blogging.

On the right hand side you can see a tag board. A tag board enables you to leave messages for me to see. Messages that are not related to the journal entries.

Under each journal entry, you would see a pencil icon. Click on the pencil icon, it would allow you to comment on what have been written.

I look forward to some of your comments soon.

Bye-bye

My right hand

I fashioned a bandage around my right palm on friday. And I was very touched to know that students cared about me to ask how am I and how did I got hurt. Many even volunteered to carry my things for me.

These little acts of concern warmed my heart.

ding~

Started this blog due to 'popular' demand by some kids, so here i am, my first post on this journal.

Contents of this journal probably include what goes on in my field of work. And it probably be one of the ways children can get in touch with me and know what is going on in my life after I have left them for my 1 year studies.

I will see if i can spare the time for a longer post but for now, that's about it.

See ya!
