Bad day... i'm burnt out!

Today is really one bad day at work.

Teachers are humans, they have down days too.
Sometimes I really wonder why is it that we needed to take so much nonsense from our students.

Teachers come into the profession after gruelling and nerve wrecking interviews by a panel of principals.
If it weren't for the fact that we enjoy being in this profession, we wouldn't have embarked on this career and throwing away good careers and much better paying jobs in the private sector.

However, manyatimes, its the pupils whom the teacher is asked to take care of, that gives him/her tte most problems. Eventually these nonsense, together with unreasonable demands from parents as well as the ministry, tear dedicated teachers away from their calling because the emotional and physical stress is just too much.

right this moment, I am suffering from emotional abuse.
I think I am.

I had to take nonsense from an EM3 class for 3 straight periods today followed by another 2 periods with my p6 class, who totally detest studying.

I know it is too early to admit defeat. But if my soldiers have stopped fighting, can the captain win the war by herself?

Its plain timpossible!

why don't they get it?
